Shadow was relinquished by his owners to a local veterinary clinic. The veterinary clinic reached out to us for help, and we immediately realized how much Shadow needed us.

When he came into our resort, Shadow was fearful of any touch. He would not bark, did not wag his tail, and his head was hung low. It was easy to see how depressed he was, and how much someone previously had abused his trust.

After being with us for a few weeks, Shadow has opened up to love, and he seems to be much happier all around!

This handsome Staffordshire/Pittie mix came to us with his companion, Juliet. These two loving souls came from a difficult situation, and we were grateful for the chance to step in and give them a fresh start. Hank was found wandering the street near our resort. One of our clients was able to keep him safe until we could get him inside the building. We then found out a small part of Hank’s story, which included most of his days being spent on a chain, and we knew we needed to show him the love he deserved! Hank spends his days playing with our Daycare guests, and any other pet who is approved for socialization! Hank loves making friends, both human and canine, and is one of the sweetest boys you will ever meet!

Due to his owner losing their home, Tank found himself at Animal Control, along with his sister, Dixie. Because the Animal Control officers know Robin has a special spot in her heart for any of the pittie breeds, they called her for help! Sarafina is another sweet soul from our recent intake of 15. We believe that Sarafina is the oldest pup of Sarabi’s, and she is one of the sweetest as well!

When we brought Sarafina into the rescue, she required an extensive amount of work to remove hundreds of ticks and then she received multiple baths to soothe her skin. She also required antibiotics to heal the skin infection she had.

This sweet momma lived on a chain with her collar so tight that all the hair around her neck had fallen off. She could not protect herself from male dogs coming onto the abandoned property so she found herself with multiple litters of pups to care for.

Sarabi did not have proper shelter, food, or water & she feared human touch. When we bent down to offer affection, she tightly closed her eyes and winced as though she was expecting a harsh hand.

Thankfully, she has allowed us her trust and she has opened up to our staff members! Sarabi has been fully vetted and is ready to find a home where she can never have fear again!
